Our Mission

Our goal is to make you look good in a shirt. We are a service-oriented, small, family-owned business that focuses on creative elements and customer service.


Putting something together, making someone happy, having it out in the world, and seeing a t-shirt that we have printed is extremely rewarding.

Who We Are


Action Tshirts was founded in 1980 by Ernie Ferguson, over the years the shop has moved from the basement of Bohannon's Records on Grace Street to Carytown and currently at our home in Scott's Addition.

Eric Helm began working in 1986 as an art student at VCU and after 20 years of employment, Eric bought Action T-shirts from Ernie. Eric and his staff continue to serve the residents of Richmond and the Central Virginia Area.
